Some silly pictures of my two year old:

Dressed up and impressed with the neighbor mowing his lawn. I know….our lives are exciting!

Sitting out the rain. This is the only second that she actually held the umbrella over her head. You can imagine it doesn’t do as much good like this:

And here is a picture of my youngest niece, displaying what I believe is called the Moro reflex (arm straight up):

Here are those three adorable siblings again. These are a couple of the family pictures from our rainy photo shoot this last week. We are giving it another go next week and hoping for better weather!

I look forward to seeing you all again soon!
Doesn’t it seem like this has been a gloomy summer in Grand Rapids? I had a family session scheduled this last week and of course we encountered thunderstorms! We tried to squeeze in as many pictures as we could under the circumstances. This family is incredibly photogenic….look at the great smiles and laughs from these kids! I don’t think I have ever taken pictures of kids who are so good at sitting and smiling for the camera!

I had to “ask” them to be silly, which of course they were good at, too!

A few individual pictures:

I have some family pictures, too, which I will post soon!
We took these pictures after the “I dos” were said!

My brother-in-law got married a week ago on Sugar Lake in Grand Rapids. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding. It was my first opportunity to take wedding pictures; I’ve been fearfully avoiding weddings. Fortunately they had a friend taking the majority of the wedding pictures, so I just got to go along for the ride and enjoy the day and enjoy capturing it. I ended up loving the experience and look forward to a wedding that I have scheduled in August!
We’ll begin with the beautiful bride!
The handsome groom…
….and his wannabe boy band groomsmen (these guys were HILARIOUS and so much fun!):
Groomsmen + bride (yes, she is laughing as hard as I was):
I’ll post more of my favorites of the bride and groom together. We ran out of time before the wedding, so we took a few more pictures after the wedding and ceremony. I love the way the pictures turned out because both Dan and Tiffany looked so relaxed and so happy. Check back soon for those pictures!
I didn’t think I was going to be able to stop taking pictures of this beautiful little girl and her mom!

Here is the cool guy that I hired to create my website. He happens to be my hubby and happened to need some new pictures to splash around cyberspace. What do you think of that crazy wall I painted? It worked well for pictures, but I don’t know what I think about looking at it every day in my living room!
