My friend has sweet kids…I believe it’s rooted in good parenting and a good marriage.  Every time these two love birds snuggled up to one another, their kids whispered, “Sarah!” and pointed, hinting that I should get a cute picture.  I loved this because it showed that they are used to seeing Mom and Dad so affectionate with one another and it helped me get cute pictures!

A few years ago my friend asked me to photograph her family.  I have been blessed to be able to get together with them each year and take new family pictures.  The kids grow and change so much, but it is when I take their pictures and begin editing them that I realize how much they have changed.  This beautiful young lady is a prime example!  (Click here to see last year’s pictures)

I spent last weekend in Brainerd photographing two families.  The first family I took pictures of lives in a beautiful new home on a cool old farmstead.  It made for fun photography!  Here are some of pictures from the day:

Due to my trip to Florida and other family commitments (like more weddings!), this bride and groom have had to be very patient for me to get all of their images done.  I’m nearly there, but to keep them hanging on a bit longer, here are a few more images from their special day!
