These sweet little girls were a delight to photograph. They were so relaxed and playful and silly in front of the camera, which makes it fun to get these kinds of pictures. They were breathtaking in B&W (see previous post) and they are just as adorable in color!

I always think of that nursery rhyme when I think of how sweet little girls are. These sisters are no exception:
They absolutely took my breath away!

More to come (in color!).

Do you think this little sweetheart has captured her parents’ hearts?
Their little princess:
Doesn’t she just have the cutest little face?!
So glad I had the privilege of taking pictures of this little princess—she was so comfortable in front of the camera and is so beautiful!

Isn’t this little princess adorable? Such a sweet little smile…(and I’m so glad her mom let her bring her princess attire!)
But I have to admit that these are the ones that I think are just to die for!!! I LOVE these expressions!
More to come soon of this darling little princess and her mommy and daddy!

These two little sweethearts—brother and sister—are going to be real heartbreakers, I just know it! They were both completely adorable and both have big, beautiful eyes.
The 2 1/2 year old little man was feeling a bit under the weather and definitely a little camera-shy, and yet he still managed to be strikingly handsome for these shots! Did I mention the eyes? (Sigh…)

Mommy & Daddy each doing their part to cheer on their little trooper:
Little sister:
Some family shots and some of just mom and dad:
Thank you for giving me the chance to meet your family and capture your little ones! They were every bit as precious as they look in these pictures!

For many Twin Cities photographers, I’m sure Como Park is old news. But seeing as it is a very lengthy drive for me, I just did my first photo shoot there and loved it! I met an old friend/co-worker and her family to get some family pictures. As true-blue Minnesotans, they got out their Twins gear!
Their little man was so mellow, but had some good smiles to give when Mom or Dad were entertaining enough:
See what I mean by mellow—easily fascinated by shoes!
His big sister was a busy three (if you have a three-year-old like I do, you know exactly what I’m talking about!). So of course I got some action shots, but also was able to capture her beautiful eyes and smile.
And as proof of the beautiful location, a family shot by some waterfalls!
I’m so glad that photography gives me opportunities to catch up and connect with old friends. Thank you, Lindgrens!

I got to take pictures of this sweet little thing when she was a newborn. She was a delight, once again!
Sometimes it is impossible for me to choose which pictures to post because there are way too many adorable ones. See what I mean?

And some cute family pictures (I always love the candid ones!):
Thank you for the opportunity to see your precious little girl again! The three of you make a beautiful family!

Maternity pictures were really just a good chance for me to travel to catch up with some old friends before their first little blessing arrives in a couple of months.
First some pictures of the family-in-waiting:

Some belly shots:

I can’t wait for word of this little girl’s arrival—she will be blessed with the most doting and loving parents a little one could ask for!
Thanks for the opportunity to see you and to capture this special time in your lives!

I just have to say it—God amazes me. A dear friend of mine was widowed a little over a year ago; she was suddenly a young mother on her own raising four little children. Fast forward to present day: she is now busy planning a wedding to a wonderful man who has been a blessing to both her and her children. It is incredible to see the way God provides for one’s needs and even the desires of one’s heart. It is incredible to be taking pictures for this soon-to-be-wed couple and soon-to-be new family. These engagement pictures started first with family pictures.

Just the couple:

They were both so kind as to indulge me in some fun pictures (thanks, guys!).

And here I was stalking them ala paparazzi-style from across the street. I wonder what passersby thought of us in our small little town!

Many blessings on a life filled with happiness, my friends!
