The last time I photographed this family, there were two little boys.  Now a baby sister has joined the ranks, and boy, is she ADORABLE!

We took the opportunity to get a family picture–the boys loved being silly and so we went with it!

One of the blessings of doing family photography in a small town is the opportunity to see families I’ve photographed and watch their children grow.  I can’t wait to watch this little beauty as she changes and that gorgeous strawberry blonde hair comes in!

Four gorgeous little ones and a handsome young man—now that makes a perfect fall photo shoot!

We have a new addition to our family.  On September 6th, we added a third little girl to our family.  She has been a joy and a blessing!

I have a thing for baby feet.  I don’t know what it is, but I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE little piggies!

I got pictures of more than just toesies at this baby session, but as a tribute to my obsession, here are some baby feet!

Newborns always remind me how miraculous life is.  This sweet little girl and her mommy are a testimony to that….these pictures were taken 11 days after she was welcomed into the world.  Mommy and baby each endured a surgery (mom had two when you consider the c-section), hospitalizations, and a few bumps and scares along the way.  But here they are home and recovering and beautiful!

I have never met more adoring or attentive parents than these two.  Thank you for sharing your little miracle with me!

Pea in the pod!

Perhaps because I am the mother of two little girls, I admit that I am a bit partial to photo sessions with little girls, especially when their mother has fun clothes and accessories for them to wear!

I enjoyed this smiley 5 year old, who wasn’t a bit camera shy.  She was so easy to work with!

There is just something I love about this picture…maybe simply the fact that I “caught” it when she was paying attention to me (those are usually my favorites!).

Although they were itchy, she was willing to wrap up in the feather boas for a couple of minutes, at least!

And here is the baby sister who is three months.  She has changed since I took her picture as a newborn but as adorable as ever!

Nothing like a baby in a basket….

This flower was big sister’s idea….I loved it!

Okay, so baby sis isn’t super happy in this one, but I loved the red wagon and big sister’s attentiveness too much to discard the picture.

I didn’t think I was going to be able to stop taking pictures of this beautiful little girl and her mom!

 

She was born May 29th.  Isn’t she perfect? 

I snuggled her into this cute “snugglie” that my friend made.  Doesn’t she look cozy?

I’m in love already!  I got to spend a couple of days visiting her and her big brothers.

This little sweetheart was just two weeks old when I got to take these pictures.  I had so much fun with this cute little gal and her mom and grandma! 

My friend made this adorable snugglie and hat.  She will soon be selling them, so I’ll have to include a link to her Etsy profile when she has it up and running.  She has made so many adorable ones!  Isn’t the pom pom one the best?!

These are a couple of pictures that I just had fun with…I love using special actions in Photoshop to give a unique look.

This little girl was a good sport, as you can tell that we had her all over the place in various outfits.  After this session, I realized that I really love doing this kind of work–I love the opportunity to spend time with people and the babies are an extra special bonus!

I always look forward to editing my images.  It’s fun for me to play around with different looks.  I recently found a fun set of actions in Photoshop that made these images more unique. I like the aged look that I can get with some of these.  (And it was kind of fun to go through and find some of my older pictures to play around with!)
