These adorable twin brothers were an absolute joy to photograph! They were sweet and good-natured and did I mention adorable?

What a beautiful family! It was a delight to spend some time with them and capture the two little sweethearts at this fun baby stage!

Trees & Soccer…A Boy’s Life!

Most family or lifestyle photographers will tell you what a joy it is to have the opportunity to photograph children as they grow. This is absolutely one of the blessings of my job! This little man is one of those kiddos that I love to photograph time and again.

He had plenty of trees that he wanted to climb for photographs–it is so sweet when kids give me their ideas for a shoot! We started in a beautiful flowering tree!

And then on to the others!

And my favorite!

Since my daughter was playing in the same soccer league at the same time, I also had a chance to snap a couple of actions shots.

Jessica and Adam said “I do” at the charming Little Mountain Chapel in Monticello last weekend. It was fun to capture their day and it was especially fun for me to be “behind the lens” for this day because Jessica is my niece! She was my very first niece….I wasn’t very old when she was born. She has always been a beautiful girl and was a beautiful bride.

She spent months and months working on details of the wedding and I enjoyed the fun pieces she used.

What is an April wedding without a few showers?

Seven Months in Color!

We decided to enjoy some bold color for Betsy’s seven month pictures. She was in a great mood and made her “shoot” so much fun!

The Sweetest Thing

This sweet little two-month-old guy was such a delight to photograph! He was so easy-going, content, and happy. He has no idea how blessed he is to have such kind, adoring parents. It was such a fun session.

And Then There Were Three

The last time I photographed this family, there were two little boys. Now a baby sister has joined the ranks, and boy, is she ADORABLE!

We took the opportunity to get a family picture–the boys loved being silly and so we went with it!

One of the blessings of doing family photography in a small town is the opportunity to see families I’ve photographed and watch their children grow. I can’t wait to watch this little beauty as she changes and that gorgeous strawberry blonde hair comes in!

Adam and Abby shared a “first look” that I was able to capture—the moment when they saw each other for the first time that day. (I love her smiling eyes peeking over his shoulder!)

Have a photo shoot, right?! I don’t remember the exact temperature of this October day, but I was so amazed at how long we kept these little ones smiling! Aren’t they adorable?

This one absolutely melts my mama heart—how precious!

As always, my favorite shots are the ones where the kiddos are just doing their thing. What a sweet family!
